During the trial lesson, we will assess the student's level and create a personalised learning plan. Afterwards, you can choose from three flexible plans:
1 weekly lesson: R400 per 60-minute lesson
2 weekly lessons: R375 per 60-minute lesson
3+ weekly lessons: R350 per 60-minute lesson

How does the first lesson go and what will you receive?
Meeting with a teacher who meets your needs
A tutor will be assigned based on your child's academic needs. During the first lesson, an introduction will take place, and a friendly connection will begin to form.
Academic analysis and learning diagnostics
During the first lesson, the tutor will conduct a comprehensive academic analysis and a diagnostic test to assess your child's current academic level. This will help identify strengths and areas for improvement.A call and analysis of diagnostic results

Based on the diagnostics and identified gaps, you will receive a tailored learning plan suited to your child's specific needs and aimed at helping them achieve their academic goals.
What if we don’t like the tutor?
If you are not satisfied with the tutor after the first lesson, we will replace them, and the first lesson will be free of charge.
How do we know that online lessons will be effective?
Individual online lessons focus all attention on one student. Students should have their camera and microphone turned on, so the tutor can see and hear them, ensuring an engaging and productive learning experience.
What if we encounter technical issues?
Memby's technical support team is always available during lessons. If you experience any technical difficulties, please contact us.
Are there any long-term commitments after purchasing more lessons?
No, the membership can be cancelled at any time with 14 days' notice.
What happens if my child cannot attend a lesson?
You can reschedule the lesson by coordinating with the tutor at least 3 hours before the lesson starts. You will find the tutor’s phone number after logging in to our platform at https://app.mathsup.co.za. Lessons can be rescheduled any time within 30 days of purchase.
How do I know if my child's grades will really improve?
While we cannot guarantee results due to the subjective nature of student behaviour, 93% of our students see improved results within the first month.
How will I know how my child is doing?
After the first lesson, you will receive a call from one of our educational experts, who will share diagnostic results and explain your child's current academic situation. Following that, the tutor will provide you with brief progress reports. If needed, you can contact the tutor directly to discuss any other concerns or questions.
Can lessons be paused temporarily, for example, for a holiday?
Yes, you can pause lessons temporarily. You need to inform us no later than 10 days before the pause date.
Can I change the time of a lesson or reschedule it for another day?
Yes, individual lessons can be rescheduled by contacting the tutor at least 3 hours before the lesson starts. Lesson times can be moved up to the payment date. If you need to change your regular time slot, please contact us.
What should I do if my child is late for a lesson?
If a student is up to 15 minutes late, the tutor will wait, but the lesson duration will be reduced by the delay. If the student is more than 15 minutes late, the lesson will be marked as attended, and the fee will not be refunded.
Can I change the tutor?
Yes, you can change the tutor at any time. Just contact our customer support team, who will help you find a new tutor.
When and how can I cancel the service?
You can cancel your lesson subscription at any time with 14 days' notice. You can do this by contacting our customer support team. Lessons not taken within the cancellation period will be refunded.
